Colin’s interest in music started with listening to his parents’ 45s from pop artists like the Beatles, the Shadows and Lonnie Donegan. The first album he bought was Abbey Road which was the start of an extensive record and CD collection covering all genres of music.

In the mid 70s he lived in the UK for 3 years a period which saw the birth of punk and new wave music which remains his favourite music period. His program Unknown Treasures covers lesser known music from the 70s to the 90s as well as keeping the listener updated on current music events.
